Favero Assioma Pro MX#

Dual-sided SPD power meter pedals installed on the Canyon Grizl CF 8 Di2. Measures and broadcasts real-time power, cadence, and left/right balance simultaneously over ANT+ and Bluetooth LE.
In the Network#
Broadcasts power data to Garmin Edge MTB via ANT+. The Edge aggregates this alongside Di2 and GPS data into a single .fit file.

Physical Design#
The Pro MX integrates all electronics (sensor, battery, Bluetooth/ANT+ radio, charging circuit) inside the spindle body — there is no external pod or module. This makes the pedal body clean, robust, and unaffected by pod damage during trail riding.
The SPD cleat compatibility makes these suitable for gravel and adventure riding where walkability matters — SPD shoes grip ground far better than two-bolt road cleats.
Calibration#
- Auto-zero: Performed automatically at each power-up
- Manual zero offset: Available via Garmin Edge or Favero app before any ride
- Temperature compensation: Active — compensates automatically for temperature changes during a ride
- Oval chainring compatible: Yes
Favero App#
The Favero Cycling app (iOS/Android) provides:
- Firmware updates
- Calibration
- Advanced cycling dynamics display
- Battery status
