Leica Summicron-M 35mm f2 ASPH#
Leica’s benchmark 35mm lens for the M system. “Summicron” denotes f/2 maximum aperture; “ASPH” indicates the aspherical element that corrects coma and off-axis aberrations. Covers full-frame; on the M11 it renders as a true 35mm — a classic street and documentary focal length. Pairs with the APO-LANTHAR 50mm to form a compact two-lens M-mount kit covering 35mm and 50mm.
The current ASPH version is compact and discreet — in keeping with the rangefinder shooting style.
