Bodies#

Current — Fuji X System#

X-Pro3#

Fuji’s flagship X-series body with a hybrid OVF/EVF and a rear LCD that faces downward by default. Primary active body. Shares the X-mount with the X-T30 and X-E1, giving access to the full XF lens lineup.

X-T30#

Entry-level X-T body with the same 26.1 MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor as the X-Pro3. No weather sealing but lighter at 383g. Used primarily with the XF 18-55mm, XF 35mm f/2, and XF 56mm.

X-E1#

First-generation X-series body. Compact and light; older sensor but fully X-mount compatible.

Current — Leica M System#

M11#

Full-frame rangefinder, 60 MP. Manual focus via rangefinder patch. Paired with the Summicron 35mm and APO-LANTHAR 50mm.

Current — Fixed Lens#

X100T#

APS-C compact with a fixed Fujinon 23mm f/2 (35mm equiv) and hybrid OVF/EVF. 3,988 photos in the library.

G12#

Prosumer compact with a 5× 28–140mm zoom, RAW support, and hot shoe.

Canonet QL17#

35mm film rangefinder. Fixed 40mm f/1.7 leaf shutter lens.

Historical — Canon EF System#

Canon EOS 40D#

Mid-range APS-C DSLR (2007). 10.1 MP, 6.5 fps, 9-point AF. Most-used historical body — 10,489 photos. Primary lenses: EF-S 17-85mm (5,092), EF 17-40mm (3,267).

Canon EOS 7D#

Flagship APS-C DSLR (2009). 18 MP, 8 fps, 19-point all-cross-type AF, weather sealed. 9,764 photos. Primary lenses: EF 17-40mm (4,666), EF 24-105mm (3,248).

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT#

Entry-level APS-C DSLR (2005). First sub-$1,000 DSLR to break 8 MP. 6,531 photos. Primarily paired with the EF-S 18-55mm kit.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi#

Follow-up to the Rebel XT (2006). 10.1 MP, improved 9-point AF. 4,132 photos. Primarily paired with the EF-S 17-85mm.

Historical — Compact#

Fujifilm FinePix F601 ZOOM#

3.1 MP SuperCCD compact (2002). 3× zoom, 36–108mm equiv.

Panasonic DMC-TZ1#

5.1 MP travel zoom (2006). 10× Leica DC Vario-Elmar zoom, 35–350mm equiv.

Mount Compatibility Summary#

M-mount lenses can be used on Fuji X bodies with an M-to-X adapter (manual focus only).

EF lenses work on EF-S bodies; EF-S lenses only work on APS-C Canon bodies — not full frame.
